2009-2010 Academic Prizes Awarded to Upper-Year Students

New York, June 15, 2010Columbia Law School is proud to announce that four students have been awarded 2009-2010 academic prizes for upper-year students, which are in addition to prizes announced last month. 
 
Archie O. Dawson Prize, awarded annually for proficiency in advocacy. The recipient is afforded an opportunity to study for several weeks at various courts in the federal system, including the Supreme Court of the United States.
 
Elisabeth L. Page ’11
 
 
Wilfred Feinberg Prize, awarded to the Law student who does the best work in an area related to the work of the federal courts:
 
Stephen Fleming Hayes '10
Adam I. Klein ’11
 
 
Jeffrey Williams Memorial Prize for Critical Rights Analysis, awarded annually to the student who writes the best paper in critical theory:
 
Laura Elizabeth Stafford ’11
"Orientalism and EU Ascension”
