This event is postponed to the spring.

This session focuses on how lawyers respond to the climate crisis while centering the communities most affected by environmental harm. The program will explore how lawyers use community advocacy, government action, litigation, and international human rights tools to demand accountability and build a greener future.

Panelists to be announced.

The Practice of Justice: Public Interest Lawyering in Action series invites students to explore how lawyers turn values into action across some of today’s most urgent justice issues. Join the PI/PS Office for seven sessions that will bring together practitioners working in direct services, government, impact litigation, human rights, public international law, and civil rights practice. Panelists will share about their career paths, discuss the advocacy tools and strategies that they utilize in their work, and answer questions from students about how to get involved in public interest lawyering. These sessions are designed to provide an overview of different career paths within public interest lawyering and are open to students of all years.
