APALSA will present a workshop for 1Ls on how to write a law school exam. The session will cover how to read and break down a fact pattern, how to structure an exam response, and what effective application of law to facts looks like in practice. This workshop is aimed at demystifying exam writing early in the semester, before students have had much (if any) practice, and is especially valuable for 1Ls who haven't yet gotten feedback on a full practice exam.
