Join Professor Briffault and Alex Hogan, PI/PS Office director of government programs, to learn about two exciting fellowship opportunities for after graduation: the Millstein Public Service Fellowship and the Excelsior Service Fellowship. Past fellows will join.
The Millstein Fellowship funds one year of work in the U.S. government. . Work within the federal executive or legislative branches focused on law and economics is prioritized, but local or state government and/or work outside of economics will be considered.
The Excelsior Fellowship places recipients in New York State government for two years. Excelsior Fellows play a policy-influencing role, with the opportunity to focus on the most pressing issues of the day. Historically, Columbia has awarded three Excelsiors per year.
Note: both fellowships are for J.D.s only.
