Mark Nielsen has served in a series of senior corporate legal roles including Chief Legal Officer of Frontier Communications (NASDAQ: FYBR) for the 12 years leading up to the company’s acquisition by Verizon in January, 2026.
Nielsen's public roles have included Connecticut State Representative (1992 to 1994) and State Senator (1994 to 1998). Nielsen also served as a staff member to Mitt Romney when Romney was Governor of Massachusetts, first as Romney's Chief Legal Counsel from (2004 to 2006) and then his Chief of Staff (2006 to 2007).
Nielsen, an honors graduate of Harvard College (1986) and Harvard Law School (1989), lives with his family in Ridgefield, Connecticut and New York City.
