Mark Maher

Mark Maher serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Spotify. In that role, he structures, negotiates and advises business units on intellectual property transactions pertaining to the licensing of sound recordings from record labels and other rights holders.

Prior to joining Spotify, Mark was Vice President, Counsel at Showtime Networks and a corporate associate in the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Mark is the board chair of Chess in the Schools.

Mark earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and his B.A. from Columbia University.
