Larcy Cooper is an experienced corporate attorney and strategic advisor with more than a decade of experience guiding companies through complex governance, regulatory, and sustainability challenges. She is the founding counsel of the ESG & Sustainability Advisory Practice at Paul, Weiss, where she advised leading private equity firms and public companies on governance structures, disclosure frameworks, and ESG integration across global portfolios.

A 2020 Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow, Larcy was recognized for her leadership in designing and launching Paul, Weiss’s inaugural ESG practice. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Law School, where she teaches on corporate governance, ESG frameworks, and risk management, and as Interim General Counsel for a company in the battery energy storage sector.

Larcy previously served as Head of Legal and Corporate Governance at BlocPower, a Series B climate technology company backed by a16z, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft. She began her legal career at Alston & Bird LLP, advising public companies and executives on securities law and complex transactions.

Larcy holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in Economics from Smith College, and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
