KJ Lim

KJ Lim is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Group at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
His practice focuses on commercial and corporate transactions involving intellectual property and technology across a broad range of industries. His experience includes compute partnerships involving leading AI and hardware companies; brand partnerships, including AB InBev's partnerships for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the UEFA Champions League; life sciences collaborations and licensing transactions; and patent sale and licensing transactions, including the formation and operation of patent pools.
In addition to his transactional practice, KJ maintains an active pro bono practice. He serves as a volunteer attorney with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Family Legal Care, where he is also a member of the Lawyers Council.
KJ holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in Philosophy from New York University.
