Evie Spanos is Of Counsel at Susman Godfrey LLP. Evie has represented individuals and companies of all sizes in litigation and pre-litigation matters, as well as in internal and regulatory investigations. Her clients come from a broad range of industries, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, media and entertainment, financial services, real estate, land use, energy, consumer goods, and insurance.

Evie advocates on behalf of clients in both federal and state proceedings at the trial, appellate and regulatory stages; in arbitration and mediation proceedings; and before industry self-regulatory organizations. Her work includes representing clients in business divorce, false advertising, bankruptcy, employment, antitrust, and securities litigation. She also advises on intellectual property matters, especially to early-stage companies, and has significant experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation.

In addition to her time as a litigator, Evie has served as a tech start-up General Counsel to companies in the FinTech and PropTech spaces.

Committed to pro bono work, Evie offers direct legal services to underserved populations, and has contributed to several amicus briefs submitted on behalf of nonprofit organizations to federal courts of appeals and the Supreme Court.

Evie holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University.
