Emily Johnson

Emily A. Johnson is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.  She currently serves in the Office’s Civil Rights Unit in the Criminal Division, and she previously served in the Office’s Violent and Organized Crime Unit.  Emily has been an Assistant U.S. Attorney since 2018.  Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Emily was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cathy Seibel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.  Emily received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2011, and her A.B. from the University of Chicago in 2003.
