Dan Nadel is currently Associate General Counsel at Reality Labs, a team at Meta responsible for developing and building the next computing platform centered around people. Prior to joining Reality Labs, Dan served as in-house counsel for CTRL-labs, a neurotechnology startup based in New York City.

Dan began his career as a patent agent and moved to BigLaw focusing on intellectual property (IP) matters spanning across procurement, licensing, and litigation. Over the years, Dan has expanded his practice to become a generalist as product counsel for the business, advising on various matters including IP, employment, trade, commercial, regulatory, and data privacy (CIPP/E, CIPP/US).

Dan earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law (2008), M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University (2011), and B.A. in Neuroscience from University of Delaware (2005).
