Bryan Furst

Bryan Furst is a Senior Counsel at the Center for Appellate Litigation, where he represents indigent clients in post-conviction and appellate proceedings. He has spared his clients decades of incarceration through vigorous, creative, and client-centered advocacy.
Prior to CAL, Bryan served as a law clerk for Judge Sterling Johnson on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and was the George A. Katz Fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice.
Bryan graduated magna cum laude from NYU School of Law and holds a B.A. in Public Health from the University of Washington.
