Benjamin Wiener

Benjamin Wiener is the Director of Staff and Supervising Attorney at the Center for Appellate Litigation.

Ben is a public defender who has represented clients on post-conviction matters in federal and state courts, including the Appellate Division, First Department and the New York Court of Appeals. Before joining CAL, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

Ben received his J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2014. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 2010.
