Human Rights Watch will join the PI/PS Office to give pointers on applying for the Sandler Fellowship, which enables a J.D. graduate to spend one year in the organization's New York or Washington, DC office. Fellows typically monitor human rights developments in various countries, conduct investigations, draft reports on human rights conditions, and engage in advocacy aimed at publicizing and curtailing human rights violations. (This event was rescheduled from September 9.)
Register in advance with your Columbia Zoom account. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing your unique link to join.
The Sandler Fellowship description and application are now listed on the Human Rights Watch jobs portal. Applications are due October 12.
Presented by the Office of Public Interest/Public Service Law and Careers (The PI/PS Office).
