Section Description
This Colloquium closely examines several major economic governance initiatives of the Biden administration. It will review the administration’s policy goals and implementation efforts across key areas of public economic law, including: industrial policy, trade, labor, transportation, healthcare, and consumer protection. The Colloquium will bring top administration officials to Columbia to share insights about their time in government.

- At the end of the course, students will have acquired understanding of and/or facility in statutory and regulatory analysis, including close reading of statutes and regulations, and application to facts
- At the end of the course, students will closely examine major economic law and policy initiatives, studying the theoretical frameworks, policy paradigms, and litigation challenges across several key domains. Students will also engage top government leaders from the prior administration.
