The mission of the Columbia Law School Association is to foster connection among graduates, friends, and supporters of the Law School. The association strives to inform the Law School alumni community of the noteworthy developments of students, faculty and fellow alumni. It also provides a forum for direct communications between alumni and the administration, and works to encourage the continued financial and moral support for the Law School.

Subcommittees
The Columbia Law School Association subcommittees—Development, Programs, and Mentoring and Recent Alumni—provide an opportunity for anyone in the Law School’s alumni community to get involved. The Programs subcommittee is responsible for developing, supporting, and promoting alumni events and initiatives that foster engagement, lifelong learning, and community among Columbia Law School graduates. Working in collaboration with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, the subcommittee helps plan educational, social, and professional programming that reflects the diverse interests and experiences of the Law School alumni community.

The Development subcommittee supports Columbia Law School’s advancement efforts by fostering a culture of philanthropy within the alumni community. In collaboration with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, the subcommittee helps promote giving to the Law School, with a focus on increasing alumni participation and support for key priorities.
