Gregory Passa is a registered patent attorney, an Assistant Professor of Law at Baylor University School of Law and an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Engineering and Computer Science at Baylor University. Previously he served as a Visiting Associate Professor of Law and Frank H. Marks Intellectual Property Law Fellow at George Washington University Law School. Gregory also worked as a patent litigator at Foley Hoag LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, & Garrison LLP. He also served as a patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Gregory provides free patent prosecution services to under-resourced independent inventors and has been recognized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for this work. Gregory received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar, his Master of Philosophy in Advanced Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, and his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
