Subha Narasimhan

Subha Narasimhan is a Professor Emerita of Law at Columbia Law School. She joined the Law School faculty in 1981. Her principal areas of interest are administrative law, occupational safety, environmental law, law and science, and torts.

Narasimhan earned a B.S. from the University of London in 1970, an M.S. and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1972 and 1975, respectively, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1980. Prior to attending the Law School, she worked for two years in research and development in the semiconductor industry. Narasimhan served as law clerk to Louis H. Pollak of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
