The Dean of Students, Yadira Ramos-Herbert, the Director of Academic Counseling, Joel Kosman, the Associate Director of Academic Counseling, Robert Ford, and the Assistant Director of Academic Counseling and Student Support, Jennifer Braden, are available to assist you with course selection, explain degree requirements, and help you manage your academic work. LL.M. students may contact Dean Sylvia Polo; Jill M. Casal, Director of the Graduate Legal Studies; Marissa Zalk, Associate Director of Graduate Legal Studies or Alison Sherwin, Associate Director of Graduate Legal Studies for assistance. Transfer students and those considering joint degrees are particularly encouraged to meet with a director at the start of your first year here in order to assess your required course load at Columbia.
