Harlan Fiske Stone
Moot Court 2013
Will Sears ’14 was awarded the Lawrence S. Greenbaum Prize for best oral presentation in the final round of the Harlan Fiske Stone Moot Court Competition on April 8. Joseph Itkis ’14 was recognized for submitting the best brief.
The oral arguments were the culmination of a demanding elimination competition and challenged students to argue an appellate case before distinguished visiting judges. This year, the court included Judge Robert D. Sack ’63 of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge William A. Fletcher of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Judge Jeffrey S. Sutton of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
The Lawrence S. Greenbaum Prize, which is awarded annually, was established in 1951 by family and friends in memory of Lawrence S. Greenbaum 1912.
