Ed Johnson, a 1993 graduate of Columbia Law School, is the Director of Litigation at the Oregon Law Center. Following law school, he worked as a litigation associate in the New York City offices of Kaye Scholer, LLP for three years. Since 1996 he has been a legal aid lawyer in Portland, Oregon. For five years, Ed was a staff attorney at Legal Aid Services of Oregon with a caseload made up primarily of housing and domestic violence cases. Starting in 2002 he has had a statewide position as the housing and homeless rights litigation support attorney in the State Support Unit of the Oregon Law Center. His practice focuses on fair housing, subsidized housing, housing preservation, and homeless rights litigation.
