Graduates Who Live and Work in Israel Attend Law School Reception in Tel Aviv

New York, June 28, 2012—Dozens of Law School graduates joined Dean David M. Schizer and Professor Zohar Goshen in Tel Aviv recently for a cocktail reception organized by the Columbia Law School Association.

The event, hosted by Daniel K. Gamulka ’94 and Richard J. Mann ’88, was held at the Tel Aviv offices of Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co., a leading Israeli law firm where Mann serves as managing partner and Gamulka is a partner.

Dean Schizer, the Lucy G. Moses Professor of Law and the Harvey R. Miller Professor of Law and Economics, briefed the more than 30 guests on the impressive developments at Columbia Law School in recent years, including the significant growth in faculty. Since 2004, the Law School has hired 32 new faculty members with expertise spanning a broad range of fields.

Also present at the June 17 event were incoming LL.M. students, who were given the opportunity to meet Dean Schizer and Goshen, the Alfred W. Bressler Professor of Law and director of the Center for Israeli Legal Studies, in advance of the students’ arrival at Morningside Heights.
