The Richard Borow–Irell & Manella Scholarship, jointly established by the Irell & Manella Foundation and Morgan and Helen Chu, honors the memory of Richard Borow ’59.

William Beinecke graduated from Columbia Law School in 1940 and endowed five funds at Columbia Law School throughout his many years of support.

The Dean James Milligan Memorial Scholarship was created in 2005 through an outpouring of generosity from graduates and friends. The scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding law students and is a fitting tribute to Milligan’s passion for diversity.

The Edward F. Stancik Memorial Scholarship was created in 2003. It is awarded each year to outstanding Columbia Law School students who have expressed an interest in public service or public interest law.

The Henry J. Goldschmidt Scholarship was created in 1977 to honor Henry J. Goldschmidt, Columbia Law School Class of 1935. The fund has been generously augmented by his many family and friends.

Friends, colleagues, family and supporters of Mr. Benkard established the James W.B. Benkard Fellowship in 2015, a fellowship honoring the powerful legacy he leaves behind.
