Scanning
The library has book/paper scanners and microfilm/microfiche reader-scanners available for use by patrons.
Book/Paper Scanners
The library possesses five public scanners for use with books and papers. Two are located on the Third Floor, in the Core Collection area; three are located on the Fourth Floor, in the same corridor as contains the Book Sorting Area. The scanner software includes an on-line manual. The scanners can send scans via email to the patron or the scans may be saved to a USB device. Users are asked to limit their scanning sessions to 30 minutes so that other patrons may also use the scanners. When scanning, it is best to keep individual files to no more than 40 pages so that the file may be delivered through email.
Microform Readers/Scanners
The library has two machines on the Third Floor that read and scan microfilm and microfiche. Please refer to our microform request instructions.
