Stuart L. Rosow joined the Proskauer firm in 1997 as a partner in the tax department, and is co-chair of the transactional tax practice group. He concentrates on the taxation of complex business and investment transactions. His practice includes representation of publicly-traded and privately-held corporations, financial institutions, operating international and domestic joint ventures, and investment partnerships, health care providers, charities, and other tax-exempt entities and individuals.
Rosow graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School. He clerked for the Honorable Walter J. Cummings of the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. A frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education programs, Rosow has also served as a member of the executive committee of the New York State Bar Association tax section, has chaired the committee on tax-exempt entities and the committee on taxation of real property. Rosow was also chair of the Personal Income Tax Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
