Lena Rieke

Lena Rieke is a reference librarian and lecturer in law at Columbia Law School. She teaches introductory legal research classes as part of the first year Legal Practice Workshop and LL.M. Legal Research and Writing. Prior to joining Columbia in 2020, Rieke was a research librarian and assistant professor at the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law. At UNLV, she taught advanced legal research and writing courses focused on transactional practice and was the faculty advisor to the school’s moot court teams.

Rieke received an M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington, a J.D. from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, and a B.A. in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
