Gregory P. Joseph is a past President of the American College of Trial Lawyers and former Chair of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association. He is Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Supreme Court Historical Society. By appointment of the Chief Justice, he served for six years on the Advisory Committee on the Federal Rules of Evidence. He is the author of three treatises: SANCTIONS: THE FEDERAL LAW OF LITIGATION ABUSE (5th ed. 2013; Supp. 2018); CIVIL RICO: A DEFINITIVE GUIDE (5th ed. 2018); and MODERN VISUAL EVIDENCE (1984; Supp. 2018). His books and articles have been cited in more than 250 opinions and 350 articles. He is a member of the Council of the American Law Institute and of the Editorial Board of MOORE'S FEDERAL PRACTICE (3d ed.). He practices with Joseph Hage Aaronson LLC in New York.
