We know you’re extremely busy, but research shows that taking just 10 minutes a day for a mindful, restorative pause can reduce stress and improve focus, concentration, and creativity. With this in mind, in the period leading up to finals, Student Services invites you to “Take Ten” by carving out 10 minutes from your busy study schedule for a reflective break.
To assist you, we are making the following resources available:
Designated Quiet Space & Guided Meditations
A room will be reserved as a dedicated Quiet Space from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. on the dates listed below, and a brief guided meditation will be offered in the Quiet Space at 3:00 p.m. each of those days. We intend for this space to serve as a calm oasis where you can take ten minutes from your day to engage in mindful meditation, quiet reflection, or just enjoy a few moments to rest and recharge. No studying please!!!
