Research shows that taking just 10 minutes for a mindful, restorative pause can reduce stress and improve focus, concentration, and creativity – not a bad way to fuel up for finals!
With this in mind, Student Services will be offering an *EXTENDED* “Take Ten” Guided Meditation series during the exam period.
The Quite Space in JG 502 will be open from 3:00-4:00 PM on the dates listed below, and a brief guided meditation will take place at 3:00 PM each of those days:
· Friday, May 3
· Monday, May 6
· Tuesday, May 7
· Wednesday, May 8
· Thursday, May 9
· Friday, May 10
Each time you participate in a "Take Ten" Guided Meditation you'll receive a stamp on your "Take Ten" Tracker (which you can pick up when you are at JG 502). Upon earning just 8 stamps, you'll be awarded an excellent PRIZE that will help enhance your mindfulness practice!
