This panel will explore how the Black Lives Matter movement has invigorated the fight for black lives across the world and discuss the resulting challenges and opportunities from local, regional and international perspectives. We will focus on the conversation around racial justice in the U.S. and the international human rights system, considering some of the activity at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and related to the Universal Periodic Review.
