Lawyering for change often requires bringing together people who do not usually interact with each other, and who enter the dialogue with very different experiences and assumptions. Please join us for a facilitated dialogue on having constructive conversations with people who don’t usually speak with other. How can those conversations happen, and who needs to be in the room? What skills do people need to engage constructively?
Sponsored by the Public Interest/Public Service Lawyering Committee and SJI. The Lawyering for Change series is a monthly workshop aimed at providing an opportunity for faculty, students, staff, and alumni to interact informally with each other, framed by brief remarks about an issue or topic relating to the general theme.
Non-pizza lunch will be served. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available. If you have further dietary restrictions, email Diana Pedi at [email protected] at least two business days prior to the event, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
