This session is geared at first-year students who are interested in guidance on roadmapping paths toward careers in public interest, government, or human rights. Hear tips and advice from 3L students who have navigated the many options at CLS and have secured desired postgraduate positions. Topics include: (1) timelines, (2) what does CLS offer and how do I navigate it?, (3) how to find your passion and build your knowledge and experience, (4) course selection and experiential learning, and (5) the value of pro bono, journals, student organization leadership, and other activities.

Non-pizza lunch will be served, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. If you have further dietary restrictions, email Tareian King at least 2 business days prior to the event and we will do our best to accommodate them.
