Join us for a lunch event with former U.S. Solicitor General Donald Verrilli '83. One of the most accomplished Supreme Court advocates in the nation, General Verrilli's landmark victories include his successful advocacy in defense of the Affordable Care Act in National Federation of Independent Businesses v. Sebelius and King v. Burwell; his successful advocacy for marriage equality in Obergefell v. Hodges and United States v. Windsor; and his vindication of federal immigration authority in Arizona v. United States. General Verrilli will talk about his perspective on the rule of law. Fundamental to our democracy, General Verrilli will share his perspective on the changes public discourse around the rule of law, and how prioritizing partisanship over the rule of law is a danger to all of us.

Lunch will be served.
