The CLS Pro Bono Scholars Program (PBSP) is part of New York State's experiential program that enables students during their last semester of law school to participate in a full time experiential semester for 12 credits. Participants begin the program by studying for and taking  the NY Bar Examination in February; work full time in a public interest practice placement following the bar exam until late May; engage with the other CLS students in the program in an innovative experiential seminar; and with bar passage, be admitted to the Bar in the summer following graduation. Additional information about next year's program will be available at the session and later online. Students entering their 3L year will apply over the 2019 summer to ensure that they have completed other requirements prior to enrolling in the PBSP. The Spring 2020 PBSP will be taught and supervised by Professor Jane Spinak.
