Judge Garcia joined New York's highest court in 2016, after a storied career in public service. Among other positions, he has served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Assistant Secretary for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Acting Commissioner of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
This talk is part of the Federalist Society's Madison Lecture Series. The Madison Lecture Series brings judges from across the country, and from both the federal and state judiciaries, to speak on a wide variety of topics related to the judiciary and the law. Non-pizza lunch will be served.
