The Columbia Law Library invites you to participate in the Spring 2021 Prepare to Practice Research Workshop Series. This set of lunchtime sessions focuses on practice oriented tips and resources.

This week’s workshop: 
Legal History Research: Using Special Collections and Archives Materials

This workshop is an introduction to basic terminology and structure of Special Collections and Archives. It will help navigate CLS and CUL Special and Archival Collections, briefly describe their holdings and provide strategies for exploring legal and historical resources in Special Collections and Archives on campus and some other NYC libraries. The workshop will also include guidance on searching Digital Special Collections and finding archival and rare book sources online in general.
