Law Needs Feminism Because is an academic-artistic photography project which seeks to make visible the importance of intersectional feminism to understanding legal history and practice.  At McGill Law School, students, professors, and alumni posed for portraits that were superimposed with the subjects' own statements explaining why the law needs feminism.

Take 10 minutes this Thursday to have your photo taken by our very own Avanthi Cole '21 and share why you believe Law Needs Feminism. We hope that sharing your stories and engaging in a larger discussion about inclusivity in the legal profession will further intersectional feminist advocacy work on campus.
