Through a panel moderated by Ben Hoffman, Acting Director of the CLS Human Rights Clinic, Columbia Law School LL.M. Human Rights Fellows Marion Crepet, Meher Dev, and Vincent Wan Shun Wong will present three case studies discussing the strength and limitations of legalistic approaches to human rights:

  • The Legally Created Precarity of Migrant Sex Workers in Canada
  • Gender Justice and Religious Freedoms in India
  • The Hidden Impacts of Wildlife Trafficking: The Case of the Pangolins
