Healthcare “Reform” and Reproductive Rights

If/When/How and Columbia Health Law Association will present a panel on the healthcare “reform” efforts aimed at repealing the ACA and the possible impact a repeal could have on reproductive rights. The panel will discuss the defund Planned Parenthood movements at the national and state level, the possible effects on contraceptive and pregnancy coverage of the proposed legislation, and the impact a repeal could have on access to health insurance and care. The panelists will also discuss litigation, advocacy, and other efforts to protect the health and reproductive rights.The panel will consist of Sara Abiola of the Mailman School of Public Health and Sara Mark from the New York Attorney General’s office.
