Prof. Takeshi Fujitani will discuss the legal implications of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake, the tsunami it triggered, and the resulting Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.

 

Takeshi Fujitani is an associate professor at the University of Tokyo, Institute of Social Science. His areas of research and teaching include taxation, international tax law and policy, public finance law, administrative law, law and economics, law and globalization, and nonprofitoOrganizations. He is in residence at Columbia Law School as part of an ongoing exchange with the University of Tokyo School of Law, sponsored by the Center for Japanese Legal Studies.
