Maryland Attorney General and Columbia Law School alumnus Brian Frosh '71 has spent his long legal and political careers fighting for what is right in his home state of Maryland. Now in his fifth year as Maryland Attorney General, Frosh has made his mark on the national stage by joining numerous lawsuits against the Trump Administration including Trump's immigration executive order, the 2017 tax reform law, and the 2020 Census citizenship question. Frosh's other acccomplishments as Attorney General include:

  • Making Maryland the first state in the nation to issue guidance prohibing discriminatory profiling by law enforcement;
  • Taking part in a national fight to control greenhouse gases from power plants;
  • Challenging the marketing and debt collection practices of banks, credit card companies, and other businesses that pray on working class families.

Hosted by SJI and the Center for the Advancement of Public Integrity. Lunch will be served.
