DC Info Session for 2Ls and 3Ls

Oct 2022

Learn more about the Externship on the Federal Government: Semester in Washington, DC, which allows students to earn academic credit while working full-time within the federal government or at a Washington, DC-based nonprofit. Pizza will be served!

The externship is open to 3Ls in the fall and 2Ls and 3Ls in the spring. Judge on the U.S. Court of International Trade, Timothy M. Timothy Reif previously advised the U.S. Trade Representative and other senior Administration officials on all global compliance, investment and regulatory matters, as well as trade and investment negotiations. Previously, he served as the Trade Representative's General Counsel, responsible for compliance with and enforcement of U.S. trade and investment agreements, including in areas such as cross-border data flows and financial services, intellectual property, and a wide range of manufactured and agricultural products. Prior to that, he served as Chief Counsel to the Subcommittee on Trade, Committee on Ways and Means, in the U.S. House of Representatives.
