Please join FGP, Outlaws, BLSA, EWOC and the Office of Judicial Clerkships for a lunch conversation with U.S. District Judge Deborah A. Batts of SDNY. Professor Olatunde Johnson will be moderating. The discussion will cover Judge Batts's nearly 25-year tenure as a district judge, her time as an AUSA, her advice for the next generation of lawyers, and more. When Judge Batts was confirmed by the Senate in 1994, she became the first openly LGBTQ+ judge on the federal bench. It's a true honor to host a trailblazer like Judge Batts at CLS, and we hope you can join us! Please submit the suggested RSVP here and add the event to your calendar!
