Join APALSA, BLSA, EWOC, LaLSA, QTPOC and SJI as we bring together students of color interested in public interest/public service and alumni of color working in those fields. Find out the different ways our alumni have navigated the public interest and public service worlds as practitioners of color.

Students will have the opportunity to engage in honest dialogue with alumni about their experiences as attorneys of color in the public sector and to gain insight into how they can prepare for the careers they envision. We see this as a safe space to explore issues of race, gender, sexual orientation and identity, poverty, and historical injustices and the role these issues play in the practice of public interest law. We hope that this event will be the first of many ongoing conversations about what diversity and inclusion looks like in the public sector.

Please RSVP if you will attend. If you have any questions, contact Kathy Santana by email at [email protected] or by phone at (212) 854-6158.

Hors d'oeuvre and drinks will be served. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available, and kosher options are available by request (via the RSVP form) at least three business days in advance.
