Primary Goals

  • Recognize and issue spot common tenant defenses for eviction proceedings.
  • Articulate the main barriers to enforcing New York City housing laws.
  • Understand the procedural requirements for filing holdover proceedings, nonpayment of rent proceedings and Housing Part actions.
