Learning Outcome Goals

Primary Goals

  • The Government Anti-Corruption Externship will teach students the structure and complexities of our Government’s efforts to identify, prevent, and prosecute public corruption.
  • Students will study government anti-corruption and ethics laws and will compare the federal, state and local mechanisms for enforcing the law and preventing and combating public corruption and/or enhancing public ethics.
  • Students will also learn about historical developments in this area of the law.
  • Through their fieldwork, students will gain professional skills by working with attorneys and learning about how the placement agencies investigate and respond to corruption.
