Advanced Environmental Law Clinic will provide students who have completed the Environmental Law Clinic an opportunity to engage more deeply in the work of the Clinic and to take on an even more significant role with respect to Clinic cases and projects. Advanced Clinic students will continue casework from their initial semester and take on new matters enabling them to delve more deeply into the substantive law and attendant policy issues. As in the initial semester, students will collaborate with clients, teammates, instructors and experts. Advanced Clinic student teams will provide peer feedback and opportunity for consultation. The instructors will provide feedback and guide reflection and learning. Instruction and class discussions will occur in regularly scheduled meetings and may include seminar meetings, field visits and other appropriate facilitated learning opportunities. Advanced Clinic students may, on occasion and with instructor supervision, take on some responsibility for investigating substantive case-related issues and presenting those issues to students enrolled in the Environmental Law Clinic.
