Latino/a Law Students Association Holds Annual Celebratory Awards Banquet
The Columbia Latino/a Law Students Association (LaLSA) celebrated the contributions of three alumni during a festive banquet held Oct. 14 at the Columbia Club in New York City. The annual event recognizes the outstanding dedication and vision of Latinos in the legal community, honoring one person each from the private and public sectors.
This year’s awards were presented to Melissa Raciti-Knapp ’93, a partner and co-head of the Latin America practice at Freshfields Brockhaus Derringer, and Angela Fernandez ’98, executive director of the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrants Rights.
