Events at Columbia Law School, including those under the support of the school, require a number of logistical considerations. Below are a list of services to help coordinate your event. Please contact these service providers once approval for your event date, space, and budget is complete.

Public Events with Press
For events to which press will be invited, please notify the Public Affairs office as far in advance as possible at [email protected].
Organizers of public events are required to obtain the written consent of all guest panelists, speakers, moderators, and participants for photography and video during the event. The Public Affairs office can provide the release forms and the forms should be returned to the office. If a guest does not wish to be recorded, please advise audience members that recording of any kind is not permitted.
Student Services works with the student body on various events throughout the year. Students can add their events to the Law School's calendar by submitting a request form. Students can also inquire about student-related events by emailing [email protected].
If you would like to add a faculty workshop, conference, or symposium to the Law School's calendar, please contact the Dean's Office.
Use our Room Reservations request system to search and sign up for available space throughout the Law School.
Setup and Cleaning Services
Building Services is available to arrange setup and cleaning services for events. Contact Building Services at [email protected].
The AV team offers a range of multimedia services for events, including microphones, setting up Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, live streaming, and video. Please make requests by emailing [email protected].
Publicizing an Event
Events should be listed in the Law School's calendar as a first measure in publicizing an event. A daily announcement and a weekly digest of Law School events listed in the calendar will be sent to the Law School community.
Printed Promotional Materials
Columbia University's Print Services is available for advice on producing printed materials to promote events and related content. Contact Print Services well in advance of your required mail drop or delivery. Tony Neri of Print Services is available at [email protected] or 212-854-5143.
Photography requests for events should be sent to the Columbia University Photo Bureau a week in advance of the event. The Photo Bureau's Eileen Barroso can be reached at [email protected] or 212-854-6527.
The Law School's website administrators are available for assistance on creating content on the Law School's website, including strategies for promoting content for events on the website and in email campaigns. The administrators can be reached at [email protected].
