April 19: MWBE Fraud Workshop - Minority and Women Owned Business fraud diverts taxpayer money, hinders infrastructure developments, and undermines the purpose of this crucial program. What steps can be taken to streamline the program, ensure that work is being done by certified M/WBEs, and encourage participation by new minority businesses? On April 19, CAPI will hold its second conference addressing M/WBE fraud. Participants from the construction industry, law enforcement, government, and M/WBEs themselves will meet to strategize ways to reform and enhance the program to avoid fraud, waste, and abuse. June 2017: Global Cities II: Joining Forces Against Corruption - The second installment of our signature conference, bringing together anti-corruption leaders from government and civil society from cities worldwide. Global Cities I gathered leaders from Athens, Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur, Chicago, Lima, Lviv, Mexico City, Nairobi, New Orleans, New York City, Perth, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Venice.
